Responsibilities:

• Startup blow molding machines, verifying machine set points are accurate throughout the shift.
• Ensure proper operation of machines; clean filters, perform minor maintenance, and monitor while purging.
• Responsible for the material grinders operations
• Ensure that all materials are blended to the proper ratios and monito0r the blending process for compliance.
• Troubleshoot machine breakdowns (secondary equipment, grinders, material handling equipment, etc) in a timely manner to minimize production down time.
• Verify proper materials are used.
• Conduct Quality Inspections on product.
• Respond promptly to problems and make proper adjustments.
• Timely communication to shift supervisor when lines are ready to start up
• Re-start machines when maintenance is complete.
• Follow ISO procedures and document any adjustments on proper form.
• Keep production area clean; follow all safety policies and practices (including LOTO)
• Assist with training of new techs.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years Extrusion Blow Molding Experience trouble shooting process related issues
• Hydraulic and pneumatic experience
• Automation experience
• Must be able to set-up molds and related equipment needed to process bottle (blow pins, sheer rings, identify proper tooling)
• Ability to understand parison programming, make recommendations, and assist with engineering changes to process and tooling.
• Must possess good leadership skills and good math skills.
• Must be capable of lifting 50 pounds.
• Job requires walking, lifting, climbing.
• Ability to operate power hand tools.
