Precision Concepts

Essential Functions – Include the following, other duties may be assigned

• Understand and execute set-up and safe operations of CNC Mill, CNC Lathe, Manual Lathe, Manual
  Mills, Brake, Shear, Roller, Band Saw, Drill Presses, and other machines as required.
• CAD/CAM experience a plus.
• Maintain the machine shop to be safe, clean and orderly.
• Understand proper machine adjustments and maintenance.
• Know and follow safe operating procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

Competencies

• Able to perform set-ups of CNC Mill and CNC Lathe to make parts from blueprints.
• Understand the proper use of precision measuring equipment.
• Understand basic speeds and feeds for machining various materials.
• Familiar with the safety requirements to work in a machine shop environment.
• Skill in PC and Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and the ability to work with precision.
• Problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures

Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to be physically active, be capable of
lifting and carrying loads up to 50 lbs, sitting, standing, bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling. Computer
work required.

Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, Monday – Friday – Day Shift.

Education and Experience

• Graduate from a Machinist program or at least 3 years of experience as a Machinist
