The Maintenance Manager – Production Engineer is a critical role within the facility thatis responsible for maintenance. plant safety, systems and, equipment performance.  This position will lead the entire plant towards lean manufacturing, six sigma performance and best business practices.

Essential Functions – Include the following, other duties may be assigned.

1. Establish and maintain a clean/safe plant following 5S guidelines
2. Work with the management team to develop an efficient maintenance schedule given customer needs
3. Collaborate on policies and procedures.
4. Direct and coordinate plant maintenance activities.
5. Responsible for Mechanical PM’s and completion of PM’s assigned to mechanics.  
6. Responsible and main contributor for plant production goals.
7. Foster a well-trained and motivated staff by developing a documented training schedule and recognizing achievement.
8. Responsible for establishing maintenance schedules, both current and future additional shifts.
9. Conduct employee performance reviews.

Education and Experience

• Minimum 5 years of plastics manufacturing and supervisory experience
• Experience in Bekum 121 operations and maintenance, a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Access Database
