Selection of the appropriate type of material for tube construction is important. There are newly developed laminate structures which include types of all plastics materials in various combinations to create compatibility and properties required for product applications. Available from IntraPac are the following choices:

The all-plastics EVOH laminate tube has become a desirable option for many personal care products. A typical construction for such an application would be white PE-film outer layer, PEtie layer, EVOH barrier layer, PE-tie layer, and PE-film inner layer. Because the outer layer of the laminate is white PE-film, it can be surface printed with brilliant colors and graphics by dry offset or flexographic methods.

We offer 20 micron aluminum barrier laminate as well as 30 and 40 micron plastic barrier laminate. Specification sheets can be provide upon request.

We are capable of offering the following closures: standard fez, puncture fez, stand up pedestals or stand up flip-top caps. Each diameter offering varies. More detail can be provided upon request. IntraPac offers a variety of neck sizes as noted in the diagram on the right. Please check each product chart to find the neck sizes available for your tube.

IntraPac offers a variety of standards as well as alternative choices of stand-up or flip-top closures allowing for varied presentations of product, package, and safety. Most caps are available for IntraPac tubes, but please check before specifying non-standards.

IntraPac laminate and plastic tubes offer unlimited decorating and printing possibilities including full color offset printing. This guideline illustrates the printable area for each tube size. For electronic art submissions via any media the preferred platform is Mac. Acceptable software is Quark, Adobe Illustrator, Freehand or any program that can be exported to an EPS file. If this capability is unavailable, output artwork and it will be reformatted.
